Chaos Marines

. I have always been drawn by the calling of the Chaos Gods, they were my second army and have done quite well for me. Ecept in tournaments where I seem to lose every battle.All the rules to play Chaos Marines have been included here and I even have a few new (see below) units for you. If time permits I will put tactics and battle reports etc up in here.

New Units

0-1 Raptor Marines.......................................................41 pts per model

At the time of the Horus Heresy the Jump Pack was in use by small specialised assault units. The Traitor Legions lost most of their equipment during their withdrawal into the Eye of Terror, this resulted in a very small amount of jump packs for use by Chaos Marines. But Chaos ingenuity has allowed these old packs to be maintained, and new ones are always acquired on raids into the Imperium. The packs have been modified to emmit a screaming howl as the descend after a leap, causing fear in all but the staunchest opponents.

Squad:

The squad consists of 4 tp 7 Raptor Marines. In addition the squad may be led by an Aspiring chaos champion bought at additional cost (9 points for Raptor pack).

Weapons:

Raptor marines come equipped with Bolt pistols and frag and krak grenades.

Armour:

Raptor marines are equipped with standard power armour.

Wargear:

Any model may be equipped with a Boltgun at a cost of 3 points per model.

Any model may be equipped with weapons chosen from the assault weapons section of the wargear list.

Up to two models may be equipped with weapons chosen from the special weapons section of the wargear list.

All models may carry plasma grenades at a cost of 3 points per model.

Special:

All models are equipped with Raptor packs (function as a jump pack) and cause fear when charging (only when charging)
